Desjardins unveils the design
for its offices in the Montréal Tower
Lévis, March 19, 2018 - With a few months to go before the official opening of our new offices in the Olympic Stadium's Montréal Tower this fall, we're excited to give you a sneak peek of our new offices.
Designed by Provencher_Roy, the new look is a perfect fit for its occupants: modern, dynamic and state-of-the-art.
"The tower is an iconic Montreal landmark and our employees are thrilled with the idea of working there. Open offices drenched in natural light, shared spaces, rest areas, coffee nooks, a cafeteria, break rooms and more--we've thought about every last detail. We're also excited to be bringing over 1,000 employees to the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough. We're confident it will help revitalize both the neighbourhood and the local economy, and we're really happy about that," says Mathieu Desrosiers, sponsor of the Destination Montréal Tower project at Desjardins.
"It's a huge privilege to work on such a unique site. Our concept was inspired by the symbol that the tower represents for the city, but also by the Olympic spirit and by Desjardins's own values. We designed the workspace to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing in a healthy environment," says Julien-Pierre Laurendeau, interior designer at Provencher_Roy.
More than 1,000 employees, mainly from the AccèsD individual and business services and Online Business Centre teams, will be moved in gradually. As the first tenant since its completion in 1987, Desjardins will occupy seven of the tower's 12 stories, or 80% of the rental space available.
We'd like to thank the RIO (Régie des installations olympiques) for their outstanding work in setting up the space.
