April 23, 2019 - Desjardins Group will take steps to support and provide financial relief to members and clients affected by the recent spring flooding. Desjardins also announced that it will donate $50,000 to the Canadian Red Cross and is encouraging its members to donate through AccèsD online, on the mobile app or by phone.

Partnership with the Canadian Red Cross

Desjardins is involved with the Ready When the Time Comes program developed by the Canadian Red Cross. Through this initiative, the Red Cross will train a number of Desjardins employees to volunteer with relief efforts after major disasters such as floods, fires, tornadoes and other extreme weather events. These employees are already out working with the Red Cross to help victims of the current floods.
