Dragons' Den set lives on the 10th floor of the CBC studios in Toronto. It is purposely intimidating, with its mishmash of ancient rusting industrial equipment, pipes and steel girders. But Guy Cormier made himself right at home on the set when he visited the Dragons recently, while filming behind-the-scenes for the Desjardins GoodSpark program for the show's upcoming fall season.
This season, Dragons' Den will feature pitches from outstanding Canadian social entrepreneurs who are supporting youth in areas such as education, employment, health and social engagement. Those who are successful may receive a financial investment from one or more of the Dragons, who are all accomplished entrepreneurs and investors. But that's not all! The entrepreneurs could also receive additional financial or in-kind investments and other resources to support their social venture through the Desjardins GoodSpark program. These segments will be highlighted throughout the season.
The upcoming fall season premieres Thursday, September 26th on CBC, and will air from September to November.
